Soho House in London is seeking a hands-on Works Manager to lead the onsite maintenance, cleaning teams, and external contractors, ensuring the building operates safely and to a high standard for members and visitors.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate with front-of-house teams, and drive safe, efficient operations while delivering a smooth, professional experience. A strong background in facilities management and health & safety is required.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Works Manager, Facilities Manager, or similar role in a commercial, co-working, or hospitality environment.
• Experience managing teams, contractors, and service providers.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of health & safety, fire safety, and compliance requirements

Responsabilidades

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the building, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and overall facilities management.
• Supervise and lead the operations and maintenance teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Plan, implement, and monitor Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and quality service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections and walkthroughs to maintain safety, presentation, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, compliance, and asset registers.
• Ensure health, safety, fire, and building regulations are fully complied with at all times.
• Coordinate with community managers and front‑of‑house teams to minimize disruption to members during maintenance or events.
• Support sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency programs, and waste management practices.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, or urgent issues, providing a professional and effective resolution.
