Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Milton Keynes is seeking a Facilities Service Engineer to perform planned mechanical maintenance, support cage repairs and racking inspections, and apply CMMS to support smooth operations for Waitrose.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, with a salary up to £30,000 and a strong suite of benefits including pension, private medical and dental insurance, a 24/7 online GP service, life assurance, and an employee assistance programme.

Qualifications

• Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in maintenance and repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to CMMS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep and performance of mechanical equipment to trained competency level.
• Identify and progress continuous improvement opportunities within the department and across all areas of the operation, enhancing the service to our customer.
• Monitor plant and mechanical equipment including use of the BMS system.
