Job summary

GXO is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join our Milton Keynes team, supporting Waitrose. You will ensure depot facilities are maintained in a safe, high standard and compliant with legislation and best practices.

This full-time, permanent role runs Sunday to Thursday, 21:30 to 05:30. Salary up to £38,080 per annum (including shift allowance) with 25 days annual leave and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 is essential.
• Strong mechanical/electrical skills; electrically biased advantageous.
• 18th Edition wiring is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering manager to ensure all contractual obligations are carried out fully, successfully and with minimum disruption.
• Monitoring/maintenance of large industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring availability and optimum performance.
• Planned and reactive plumbing and drainage maintenance.
• Electrical testing and fault finding.

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes, supporting our customer Waitrose. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the depot and associated facilities are maintained in a safe operating manner, that the buildings are maintained to the highest possible standards, in accordance with legislation and best practices.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Sunday to Thursday, 21:30 to 05:30.
