Job summary

GXO in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Facilities Service Engineer to join our team and support two Waitrose sites. You will perform planned mechanical maintenance on cages and racking systems, including reactive repairs, PMs, and inspections using the CMMS to keep operations running smoothly.

This full-time, permanent role operates Monday to Friday on a rotating 05:30–13:30 / 13:30–21:30 shift pattern. The salary is up to £32,000 per annum with a comprehensive benefits package including pension,

Qualifications

• Mechanical/engineering background required or desirable
• Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance systems preferred
• Willingness to cover occasional sites and shifts as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned mechanical preventative maintenance on cages and racking systems
• Perform reactive repairs and PMs to ensure system availability
• Utilise CMMS to support smooth operations and record work
• Cover mechanical maintenance tasks at other Waitrose campus sites if required
