Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer for the Hollybank site in Scropton, Derbyshire. The role involves general upkeep of the interior and exterior, working in a fast-paced FMCG environment with duties spanning plumbing, decorating and basic electrical tasks.

You will be responsible for maintaining building fabric, auditing restrooms and offices, prioritising repairs, identifying root causes and liaising with production, H&S and Engineering teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Floor, road and wall repair experience.
• Basic plumbing, cladding and carpentry ability.
• Painting and decorating experience.
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Domestic electrical experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep and repair of internal and external building fabric.
• Auditing and repairs of restrooms, kitchens and office spaces.
• Planning and prioritising repairs.
• Root cause analysis and suggestions for improvements.
• Upkeep of the external grounds.
• Liaising with production, H&S and Engineering teams to identify and rectify issues.
