Job summary
Recruit4staff LTD is representing a facilities maintenance role at a prestigious client site in Cardiff. The Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias will undertake planned and reactive maintenance of electrical services, across single-phase and three-phase systems, in a commercial setting.
The role operates a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am) with a £2,500 shift allowance.
Qualifications
- Proven FM sector experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Experience in maintenance, testing and fault-finding across emergency lighting, back-up power, HVAC plant and switchgear.
- Ability to undertake multi-skilled work, including basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance.
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Responsibilities
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance and repair of electrical services in commercial buildings.
- Service, maintenance and fault-finding across single-phase and three-phase systems, HVAC and plant room equipment.
- Complete paperwork and reports and supervise on-site subcontractors.
