Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing an established building services and facilities management business in their search for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to work at their prestigious client site in Cardiff.

You will undertake planned and reactive maintenance of electrical services within commercial buildings, servicing, fault-finding and breakdown work across single-phase and three-phase systems, with a 4-on 4-off 12-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Maintenance and fault-finding across emergency lighting, back-up power, HVAC plant, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, lighting.
• Ability to multi-skill in basic mechanical tasks.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance and repair of electrical services.
• Service, maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown work across single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Work on HVAC systems and plant room equipment.
• Complete paperwork and reports.
• Supervise on-site subcontractors
