Job summary

Castings Technology International is seeking a General Maintenance Support to aid day-to-day upkeep of our manufacturing facility. You will assist with repairs, installations and preventive tasks, ensuring a clean, safe environment and supporting the Facilities Manager and maintenance team.

Ideal candidates have practical skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and use of hand and power tools, plus licences such as FLT, overhead crane, and MEWP where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Safe working practices and Health & Safety knowledge.
• Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely.
• FLT (Counterbalance) licence.
• Overhead Crane licence.
• MEWP licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day maintenance across the facility.
• Support repairs, installations and preventive maintenance.
• Perform basic tasks: painting, carpentry, plumbing.
• Assist skilled maintenance staff and Facilities Manager.
• Maintain clean, safe and hazard-free workshop areas.
• Support loading/unloading and transport of parts.
• Maintain tools, equipment and consumables.
