Job summary

Genesis Employment Services Ltd are assisting an engineering client near Coventry with a Maintenance Technician role on a temp-to-perm basis. You will maintain production tooling, assist with die fits, and ensure tooling is ready for production within set timescales.

Responsibilities include dismantling and reassembling dies, delivering finished tools to the shopfloor, and validating machine settings. An FLT and crane slinging licence are advantageous, with training possible if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of production tooling.
• Able to dismantle and reassemble dies and tooling.
• Deliver finished tools to shopfloor and ensure work is completed.
• Contribute to die fits on larger Low-Pressure machines and validate settings.
• FLT licence and crane slinging licence would be advantageous; training may be given.

Job description

One of our engineering clients based in CV4 are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a temp to perm basis

The role

• Complete maintenance of production tooling in line with requests from production supervisor via the LOPs system and within timescales set by the MP and L Manager.
• Assist in tasks required to enter dies into production by assisting with die fits when required. Some general remedial work may be required to running dies this again will be at the request of the production supervision.

Experience required

• Good tooling knowledge regarding spotting issues that can de dealt with to meet required loading dates and achieve output with minimal scrap.
• To be able to dismantle and reassemble dies and tooling competently.
• Deliver to the shopfloor a finished tool ensuring all requested work has been completed.
• Contribute to the die fits on the larger Low-Pressure machines, submitting to the production a die set up and ready to run, by way of you validating settings and dry cycling the machine prior to handover.
• A current FLT licence and Crane slinging licence would be an advantage albeit training may be given.
