OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities Manager in Bedford to oversee soft and hard services, manage budgets, and lead service staff and contractors. You will maintain client relationships, ensure safety compliance, and drive maintenance scheduling across a busy facilities portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of soft services (catering, cleaning, security) and hard services (maintenance, HVAC, electrical).
• Supervise service staff and external contractors to high standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance/service schedules.
• Ensure health and safety compliance; conduct inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage budgets and expenses for all services.
• Act as main point of contact for clients and maintain relationships.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet organisational needs.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Handle emergencies and service disruptions promptly.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and expenses.
• Implement sustainability initiatives within facilities management.
