A multi-site facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Facilities Lead to oversee operations and ensure safety and service quality at their Kettering office. You will manage a team, coordinate various functions including maintenance and safety compliance, and work closely with contractors. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum and opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications
Time served in Facilities or Site Management role.
Experience in fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
Respond professionally and promptly to urgent facilities issues.
Act as key holder and first responder outside normal hours.
Develop, manage and improve preventative maintenance schedules.
Monitor facilities requests and improve service response performance.
Support budget planning and track expenditure against forecasts.
Lead contractor management and project delivery.
Support workspace development projects.
Coordinate site services including security, cleaning, and consumables.
Carry out regular site inspections and report maintenance issues.
Support Fire Safety and Health & Safety initiatives.
Skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
Experience managing budgets and supplier relationships
Excellent project and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Practical, flexible and proactive working style
Full, clean UK driving licence
Education
Facilities Management, Health & Safety or related qualifications
IOSH or safety management certification
Tools
Basic CAD or workplace planning software experience
