Cellular Origins is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee two Cambridgeshire sites, including the new HQ, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable operations. You’ll partner with engineers, scientists and suppliers to keep environments running smoothly as the business grows.

You will own day-to-day facilities management, planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety, budget control, and contractor management, shaping how our facilities evolve to support patient-focused research

Qualifications

• Experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar facilities role.
• Strong practical understanding of health and safety, fire safety and building compliance.
• Experience working with external contractors and service providers, including holding them to account.
• Organisational and communication skills to manage competing priorities without losing detail.
• Experience in laboratory, technical or regulated environments is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Run facilities operations across two sites, including planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security, waste and site services.
• Ensure facilities standards are consistent across both locations for a reliable experience.
• Own supplier and service contracts with quality, value and accountability.
• Manage the facilities budget with cost discipline, safety and reliability.
• Support the transition to the new HQ with clear communication and organisation.
• Take responsibility for health, safety and compliance in our buildings.
• Lead audits, inspections and risk assessments and drive corrective actions.
• Act as main point of contact for facilities-related safety matters.
• Continue to improve environments, policies, sustainability and resilience.
