Job summary

Airedale International, part of Modine, invites applications for a proactive Facility Maintenance Technician at the Rawdon site, reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Team Leader. You will maintain and support the smooth running of building services and equipment.

The role requires electrical qualifications, IPAF/M.E.W.P. experience, BMS usage, and a flexible approach to working hours to address breakdowns and planned maintenance. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a suitable recognised electrical qualification and experience.
• MEWP experience with IPAF licence (preferable but not essential as training will be given)
• Utilise the Building Management System (BMS) to control building HVAC and production plant processes
• FLT Licence (preferable but not essential as training will be given)

Responsibilities

• Perform building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work as required.
• Carry out minor repairs to property, fixtures, fittings and equipment
• Management of contractors on the Rawdon site
• Involvement in new installations as required
• Responsible for induction and point of contact for contractors whilst working on site
• Address any minor internal issues (blocked drains, toilets, minor spillages, light lamps)
• Follow set PPM procedures for fire detection systems
• Ensure activities comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Understand basic plumbing and mechanical systems
• Be flexible with working hours to rectify breakdowns as priorities dictate
• Support other maintenance teams as required
• General adhoc jobs as required
• Willingness to attend training to attain relevant qualifications
