Job summary

NCIC is recruiting a Facilities Housekeeping Supervisor for Penrith & Alston, 27 hours per week on a rolling rota with shifts 7am-3pm or 4pm-8pm and 2 weekends out of 3. You will supervise housekeeping staff to provide high-quality, safe domestic services across wards and departments.

The role is NHS AfC Band 3, salary £25,760-£27,476 pro rata per annum. The post emphasises infection prevention, training, and adherence to Trust values.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge required
• HACCP knowledge required
• Health & Safety knowledge required
• Full clean driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of housekeeping staff across wards and departments
• Monitor standards of work and staff performance during shifts
• Train new and existing staff and delegate daily tasks
• Complete weekly timesheets and sickness records, and record on ESR system
• Adhere to infection prevention policies and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Maintain a positive Trust image and ensure site security and equipment upkeep
