Job summary

NCIC is seeking a Facilities Domestic Assistant for Workington Hospital. The role involves cleaning and catering tasks, and ensuring cleanliness aligns with national standards. It is a part-time position (20 hours per week) Monday to Friday, with a 3:30pm–7:30pm schedule and a Band 2 wage level.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning and infection control practices.
• Food handling hygiene knowledge and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning and catering duties across Workington Hospital.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in line with National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025.
• Provide patients with meals and support ward duties as required.
