Job summary

A part-time Facilities Handyperson role is available at a leading business centre in Kings Hill. Working alongside the team, you will help maintain high standards of decorating, preventative maintenance, and safety, with a focus on customer service.

Shifts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00–12:30. The role involves site upkeep, H&S compliance and ensuring the centre presents an excellent impression to clients.

Qualifications

• Part-time skilled and proactive facilities handyperson experience preferred.
• Experience with decorating, maintenance and general repair tasks would be beneficial.
• Ability to follow H&S procedures and deliver good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine site and H&S checks, including waste areas, buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Undertake decorating tasks in vacated offices and prepare units for new customers.
• Carry out general maintenance and handyperson duties at the centre.
• Take regular meter readings (electricity, gas, water).

They are seeking a part‑time skilled and proactive Facilities Handyperson (FHP) to join their business centre team in Kings Hill. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am - 12:30pm. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of decorating, preventative maintenance, H&S and customer service.

About the role

Working alongside a full‑time FHP, the successful candidate will assist with the daily upkeep of the site, supporting robust H&S and Fire Safety procedures, carrying out general maintenance tasks, and ensuring the centre always presents an excellent impression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine site and H&S checks, including waste areas, buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Undertake decorating tasks in vacated offices bringing the units back to specification ready for incoming customers.
• Carry out general maintenance and handyperson duties at the centre.
• Take regular meter readings - electricity, gas, water.
