Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fabric Technician to perform proactive and reactive building maintenance for client contracts. The role supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and system improvements across facilities in the Greater London area.

You will assist with installation/modification of equipment, ensure compliance with codes, and work under supervision to follow defined procedures while delivering reliable output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting 50 lbs, bending, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with courteous service and strong customer care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and systems.
• Assist in installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Assist engineering staff with a variety of duties as required.
• Ensure systems operate in the most efficient manner.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Deliver output by following procedures under close supervision.
