Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer for our Chester site. Responsibilities include painting, repairs, equipment movement, and basic electrical/plumbing tasks, while ensuring safety compliance.

You will liaise with clients, supervise contractors, and perform preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services. A proactive attitude, PC literacy, and strong customer relations are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply paint, wallpaper and finishes to surfaces.
• Repair doors, tables and general equipment.
• Move and install equipment around site.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Carry out basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Oversee contractors and suppliers on site.
• Liaise with client representatives on maintenance tasks.
• Ensure works are carried out safely under Health and Safety regulations.
