Job summary

Ashville College, Harrogate, is looking to appoint an Estates Officer to join our busy Estates Team. The successful candidate will ensure the security, maintenance and overall appearance of the buildings meet required standards.

This full-time role (35 hours/week, full year) includes an on-call rota (1 in 6). The salary is £27,354 plus an on-call allowance of £4.00 per hour (£3,485 p.a.).

Qualifications

• This role requires experience in a similar post, such as handyperson with caretaking/maintenance experience.
• This is a varied, physically demanding post requiring flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient operational support to maintain security, maintenance, and appearance of buildings.
• Work as part of the Estates Team to uphold required standards.
