Job summary

ABM is seeking a proactive Janitor to keep our Glasgow site clean and safe for customers and staff. This permanent role involves waste management, operating site equipment, and supporting facilities across back-of-house areas and car parks.

You will work as part of a team and autonomously as needed, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer care. A valid driving licence is required, and the position offers a permanent contract with a 3 days in 7 shift pattern across 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently to meet targets.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• High level of customer care awareness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Waste management in line with on-site processes and recycling targets.
• Operate on-site equipment including baler, compactor, pallet lifter and sweeper.
• Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas, service yards and car park.
• Assist client and retailers with disposal of items and support in emergencies as Fire Warden.
