Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Skipton is seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator to help run the site daily, with a hands-on, varied role from reception to contracting services. You will ensure a safe, efficient, welcoming workplace and support a range of facility services to keep operations and standards high.

The role focuses on managing contracts, coordinating workplace services, and maintaining records while collaborating with the Site Engineering Manager.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments with strong documentation and compliance awareness.
• Able to balance multiple priorities and communicate confidently with colleagues, visitors, and contractors.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reception services and ensure a positive visitor experience.
• Coordinate workplace services including cleaning, welfare facilities, catering supplies, and security.
• Manage facilities contracts such as access control, alarms, vending, waste, pest control, and grounds.
• Maintain records, raise purchase orders, monitor expenditure, and prepare performance reports.
• Conduct regular site walks, identify issues early and support planned maintenance.
