Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC is seeking a Packing Operative for the late shift at our Skipton facility. This fixed-term contract runs until the end of June 2027 and operates on a 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off.

The role involves hands-on packing, strict adherence to GMP/SOPs, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. You will join a team focused on quality and efficiency, with opportunities to train and mentor colleagues as confidence grows and production runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in light to medium-volume manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pack products safely and accurately to high quality standards.
• Follow GMP and SOP requirements and maintain clean, well‑maintained equipment.
• Train and share knowledge with new team members as confidence grows.
• Collaborate with Line Lead and Packing Specialists to resolve production issues for smooth runs.
• Keep the workplace clean, safe and compliant; spot hazards and support process improvements.
• Support Operational Excellence initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.
