Keep our site running at its best
Do you enjoy creating organised, welcoming, and well-maintained environments where people can do their best work?
We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our site. This is a varied and hands-on position where no two days are quite the same. From ensuring visitors receive a great first impression to coordinating essential workplace services, you'll be at the centre of keeping our facility safe, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone who works here. Working closely with the Site Engineering Manager, you'll help deliver a wide range of facilities services that support our people, our operations, and our workplace standards.
This is a career with real purpose - one you can genuinely feel proud of. We work a 9-day fortnight at our Skipton site, which means every second Friday is yours to enjoy. Longer weekends, more time with family and friends, and a healthier work life balance.
We also care deeply about the wellbeing of our people. You'll have full access to our Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential emotional, physical, and financial support 24/7, 365 days a year. On top of that, you'll also have access to the below:
As our Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll take ownership of many of the services that keep the site running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll oversee reception services and help ensure visitors and colleagues have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll also manage communication displays across the site, helping to keep everyone informed and connected. A significant part of the role involves coordinating workplace services such as cleaning, welfare facilities, laundry contracts, canteen supplies, and site security. You’ll work closely with contractors and service providers, ensuring they deliver the high standards our colleagues expect and that contractual requirements are consistently met.
You’ll also be responsible for managing a range of facilities contracts, including access control systems, fire and security alarms, vending machines, sanitary waste services, pest control, grounds maintenance, Legionella compliance activities, and electric vehicle charging facilities. Regular site walks and inspections will be an important part of your routine. You’ll identify issues before they become problems, help maintain excellent workplace standards, respond to building-related concerns, and coordinate solutions to keep the site operating effectively. Alongside the operational side of the role, you’ll support the administration of the facilities function. This includes raising purchase orders, monitoring expenditure, maintaining accurate records, producing performance reports, and supporting planned maintenance activities when required. Most importantly, you’ll act as a trusted point of contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors, ensuring our facilities services are delivered professionally, efficiently, and with a customer-focused approach.
We’re less concerned about specific qualifications and more interested in finding someone who is organised, proactive, and takes pride in delivering a great service. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment and understand the importance of maintaining workplace standards, compliance requirements, and accurate documentation. You’ll be someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, communicates confidently with a wide variety of people, and has a keen eye for detail. You’re comfortable working independently, using your initiative to resolve issues, while also knowing when to seek support or elevate concerns. Most of all, you’ll be someone who enjoys helping others and takes satisfaction in creating a workplace that is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
