Lancaster University is seeking a Security & Portering operative for Bailrigg campus. The role is part-time and indefinite, with a salary of £24,685 pro rata.

Facilities are responsible for all property services on behalf of the University, including security, catering and general upkeep of the Estate. You should be hard working, reliable, willing to learn and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Facilities are responsible for all property services on behalf of the University, including cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, catering and general upkeep of the Estate.

You should be hard working, reliable, willing to learn and be committed to delivering excellent customer service. Security experience is not essential but desirable with experience of working in a similar environment. You should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and be committed to high standards, able to work on your own initiative and have a flexible approach and attitude to solving day to day problems. You should also have a willingness to undergo development training.
