Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a time-served facilities management professional to deliver both soft and hard services for our aerospace and defence client on a site in Newport. You will lead a team of engineers, cleaners and operatives, manage KPI delivery and maintain statutory compliance.

The role requires strong budget control, HR experience across people management, and the ability to develop local policies while aligning with group best practices.

Qualifications

• Time-served with demonstrable work history in building services.
• Proven ability to lead a site-based team including engineers, cleaners and operatives.
• Experience with budget control, P&L management and cost/margin achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FM services (soft and hard) for aerospace/defence client to meet contractual and statutory requirements.
• Manage contract performance, client liaison and KPI delivery.
• Lead and develop a site-based team of management, engineers, cleaners and operatives.
• Implement and manage permit to work system and compile SSoW.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance activities per statutory legislation and SLAs.
• Communicate with clients, vendors and team members; present reports and recommendations.
• Identify and share improvements and best practices with the client.
