Job summary

Maxwell Stephens Recruitment is seeking an Estates & Facilities leader to drive the long-term strategy for a high-performance engineering campus. You will oversee hard and soft services, capital projects, and compliance across a complex site with corporate and client-facing spaces.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met. This national search targets senior FM leadership with a track record of strategic delivery.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director of a globally recognised high-performance engineering and manufacturing business, with a seat on the senior management team.

Full accountability for the control, development and performance of all estates, facilities, infrastructure and site services across a complex single campus advanced manufacturing, test environments, controlled areas, corporate and client-facing space.

The remit covers the long-term Estates & Facilities Strategy, hard services and critical engineering, capital projects and campus expansion, soft services and contracts, and full legal, HSE and environmental compliance. You will lead an established multidisciplinary team and control both operational and capital budgets.

We are looking for a genuine FM leader someone who has built an estates strategy, sold it internally, and delivered the capital projects behind it.

Backgrounds of particular interest: advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defence, high-performance engineering, major venues and stadia.

ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 grounding and NEBOSH expected.
