Job summary

Butlin's Minehead is seeking a Facilities Commercial Assistant Manager to support the delivery of safe, well-maintained retail and entertainment venues across the resort. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance plans and manage contractors to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction.

You will drive safety, scheduling and asset care while coordinating with the Facilities Manager to ensure operational readiness during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Facilities management, hospitality management or building/property maintenance or equivalent experience.
• IOSH managing safely certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NEBOSH General certificate (desirable).
• Proven experience supervising a technical or maintenance team.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and service partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiskilled technicians, workload scheduling, performance oversight and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations to maintain high guest experience across retail and entertainment venues.
• Manage contractor relationships and third-party specialists for works across the resort.
• Ensure maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance plans and audits are completed on time.
