Job summary

Powys County Council is recruiting for a frontline cleaning supervisor to provide a high standard of cleaning within PCC premises. You will follow council policies, carry out duties to the required specification and support building security including opening and closing routines.

You will lead a team of cleaning staff, perform area checks, maintain stock records and time sheets, and respond to emergency call outs as needed in line with local arrangements.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete stock records, time sheets etc.
• Literacy and numeracy skills
• To provide a front line service in line with Powys Council policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide a frontline service in line with Powys Council policies and procedures.
• Openings/closings and security of the establishment; be a key holder and respond to emergency call outs and arranged opening–closing for contractors/lettings.
• Be responsible for a team of cleaning staff.
• Clean designated areas to required specifications and carry out building checks / duties as per local arrangements.
