Powys County Council is recruiting a Cleaning Caretaker 4 for Ysgol Trefonnen in Llandrindod Wells. This part-time, on-site role is permanent, with a pro rata annual salary of £26,427 to £26,847.

The role includes leading cleaning staff, managing opening/closing and security as a key holder, and responding to emergency call-outs, with an Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a front line cleaning service in line with Powys council policies and procedures.
• Carry out cleaning of an area to the specified standard and perform building checks.
• Open/close the establishment and provide security; act as key holder and respond to emergency call-outs.
• Lead a team of cleaning staff and coordinate daily tasks.
• Ensure duties comply with local arrangements for cleaning services.
