Job summary

Verdant Parks in Scotland is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to keep our main complex, reception, bar and leisure spaces spotless and welcoming for guests. You will follow health and safety guidelines and help ensure high standards across all areas from washrooms to corridors.

In this role you’ll work variable hours, with shifts discussed at interview, and be part of a friendly team at Coldingham Bay Holiday Park.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred in hospitality or leisure.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in high standards.
• Reliable, hardworking and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining the main complex building, including reception, bar and restaurant areas, leisure spaces and communal corridors.
• Cleaning the Laundry and Touring shower/toilet areas; ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard throughout the day.
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
• Carrying out routine and periodic deep cleaning tasks in line with company standards.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and sanitising floors and surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and responsibly.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or hazards within the complex promptly.

What you’ll be doing
