Job summary

Verdant Parks is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to keep our main complex, reception, bar and leisure areas clean and welcoming for guests at Heather View, Stanhope. You’ll perform daily cleaning, restock supplies and report issues to maintain high standards.

This seasonal role requires attention to detail and reliability, with weekend and bank holiday flexibility. Pay is £8.85 per hour (16-17) or £12.71 per hour (18+), and hours vary to meet park needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Cleaning and maintaining the main complex building, including reception, bar and restaurant areas, leisure spaces and communal corridors
  Ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard throughout the day
  Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls
  Carrying out routine and periodic deep cleaning tasks in line with company standards
  Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and sanitising floors and surfaces
  Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and responsibly
  Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with health and safety guidelines
  Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or hazards within the complex promptly to the appropriate team

What We’re Looking for:

• Previous cleaning experience (ideally within hospitality or leisure, though not essential as full training will be provided)
  A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards
  A reliable, hardworking and proactive approach
  The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  Good awareness of health and safety practices
  Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required
  A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to great guest experiences
