Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) at Stepping Hill Hospital in Hazel Grove. The role is part-time (15 hours per week) and involves supporting the Trust's Facilities team with cleaning across wards, clinics, and admin areas.

The post is permanent with a Monday to Friday pattern; weekend shifts on rota; salary £25,272 per annum pro rata. The post requires NVQ2, COSHH knowledge, and commitment to NHS standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 or equivalent experience for cleaning roles.
• Experience with cleaning in NHS or hospital settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general cleaning duties across patient and clinical areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and hospital policies.
• Maintain infection control and health & safety standards.
• Work on a weekly rota including some weekend coverage.
• Attend mandatory training as required.
