Leigh Academies Trust Facilities team has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Facilities Assistant to join our collaborative team working across our Primary Academies in Maidstone.
This position will assist the wider Estates Team with the care of the academy premises, including general maintenance, minor repairs, refurbishment works, porterage, and other duties. The role supports the Facilities Manager in ensuring health, safety, and security of a busy academy.
Applicants should have a flexible approach to working hours and duties and may need to cover for other team members occasionally. We seek trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, and conscientious individuals who can work independently and as part of a team.
Ideal candidates will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, and an understanding of safeguarding. We offer excellent CPD opportunities within the academy and the wider multi-academy trust, providing support for skill development or training as needed.
This role involves working across Tree Tops Primary Academy, Oaks Primary Academy, Molehill Primary Academy, and Langley Park Primary Academy.
