Our client is currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant for their site in Exeter EX2.

Job role: Facilities Assistant
Shifts: Monday-Friday
Pay: £12.82 p/h (PAYE)
Hours: 11.00 - 19.00
Start date: 19th May 2025
End date: 5th September 2025
Location: Exeter EX2

COSHH training essential

Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective cleaning and hygiene standards in operational and non-operational areas.
Provide traffic control assistance in emergency situations, ensuring roads are kept clear and emergency response vehicles are directed to the correct location.
To provide a trolley recovery service where needed.
To be responsible for the safe use of equipment including mechanical and electrical items following appropriate training as required.
To safely undertake all waste removal and disposal from internal bins and offices, in accordance with client procedures. Where required, ensure waste is recycled appropriately.
Provide a professional passenger assistance service to those requesting additional help.
To provide assistance with moving furniture, equipment and office relocation as required.
Checking appliances, fittings and general environment are in good working order and all defects reported to Team Leader.
Safe keeping of keys issued for the performance of cleaning duties.
Carry out mail sorting, delivering and franking as required.

Due to the background checks required for this site you must have lived in the UK for at least 3 years and be willing to complete a BPSS form.
