Job summary

Local Hospice Lottery is seeking confident, driven Community Fundraisers to speak with the public and help raise vital funds for hospices across the UK. This field-based role suits friendly, tenacious people who enjoy meeting new people and staying upbeat with a good sense of humour.

You’ll sign up supporters using a digital device, work door-to-door or at approved sites where available, and plan your day to hit targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in charity, fundraising or sales is desirable but not required.
  • Full training provided.

We’re looking for confident, driven and resilient individuals to join Local Hospice Lottery as Community Fundraisers.

In this role, you’ll speak directly with members of the public, helping them support hospice care in their local area. It’s ideal for those who are friendly, happy and tenacious, enjoy meeting new people, and bring a good sense of humour to their work.

Local Hospice Lottery is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for hospices across the UK. Through our weekly lottery, we provide vital, ongoing income that helps deliver essential care to patients and families in local communities.

Your day-to-day
  • Engaging with the public in local communities
  • Explaining how hospice lottery funding supports care services
  • Signing up new supporters using a digital device
  • Working door-to-door and at approved private sites (Where available)
  • Planning and managing your own day effectively
