Job summary

Local Hospice Lottery is seeking a Community Fundraiser to engage with the public in Chelmsford and surrounding areas, turning conversations into real community impact. You’ll explain how hospice lottery funding supports care and sign up new supporters using a digital device in a field-based role.

No experience? Full training is provided, with flexible working options and a base salary plus uncapped bonus potential to drive targets.

Community Fundraiser

Salary + Bonus | Flexible Working | Field-Based Role

Working in Chelmsford and the surrounding area, you’ll help make a real difference to local hospice services.Turn conversations into real community impact.

We’re looking for confident, driven and resilient individuals to join Local Hospice Lottery as Community Fundraisers.

In this role, you’ll speak directly with members of the public, helping them support hospice care in their local area. It’s ideal for those who are friendly, happy and tenacious, enjoy meeting new people, and bring a good sense of humour to their work.

Local Hospice Lottery is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for hospices across the UK. Through our weekly lottery, we provide vital, ongoing income that helps deliver essential care to patients and families in local communities.

Your day-to-day
  • Engaging with the public in local communities
  • Explaining how hospice lottery funding supports care services
  • Signing up new supporters using a digital device
  • Working door-to-door and at approved private sites (Where available)
  • Planning and managing your own day effectively
