Job summary

Bupa Haywards Heath is seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Face to Face) to deliver high-quality counselling across short- to long-term care. You will work independently within a multi-disciplinary clinical team, liaising with internal and external services, safeguarding agencies and the client’s network.

The role offers both part-time and full-time hours, with sessions in a varied weekday schedule. Responsibilities include assessments, formulations, signposting, and delivering group

Qualifications

• BACP accredited status and UK-wide registration required at time of application.
• Minimum 3 years full-time post-qualification counselling experience.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary clinical team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft systems.
• Strong assessment and formulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling with evidence-based approaches.
• Deliver assessments and formulations to guide interventions.
• Offer face-to-face sessions and flexible service delivery.
• Collaborate with clinical leads and therapy teams.
• Attend supervision and team meetings.
• Support client and employee wellbeing through workshops.
• Manage caseload and meet targets.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and raise mental health awareness.
