Job summary

Amida Global Pty is seeking a Facades Package Manager with 5+ years of package management experience for major construction projects in the UK. Ideally from Tier 1/2 contractors or leading developers, with exposure to large façade packages up to £40m.

The role entails coordinating programmes, reviewing designs, and coordinating with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to hit key milestones. Up to £90k plus package is on offer for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of package management experience.
• Experience with Tier 1/2 contractors or leading developers.
• Background with large unitised, stick or architectural pre-cast packages up to £40m.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programmes and site activities to align with project requirements.
• Review installation processes for efficiency and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients and sub-contractors to hit targets.
• Review façade design and interface details.
• Develop construction methodologies suitable for the project.
• Review and monitor design development against Contractor Proposals.
• Create and monitor construction work programmes.
• Sequence works to meet handover dates.
• Review and sign off risk assessments and method statements.
• Prepare short-term planning programmes and look-ahead schedules.

My client who're a leading player in the D & B and CM marketplace on construction contracts up to £500million are now in the marketplace for another Facades Package Manager.

The ideally candidate will have over 5 years package management experience, either working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor or leading developer. Following on, candidates who come from a sub-contracting building envelope provider that has delivered large unitised, stick or architectural pre-cast packages up to £40million in value will also be heavily considered.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Coordinate programmes and site activities to ensure they are in line with project requirements
• Review all installation processes for efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant safety guidelines.
• Manage and coordinate with architects, engineering professionals, clients and sub-contractors to ensure that key targets and programmes are achieved
• Review façade design and interface details
• Developing best suitable construction methodologies for the project
• Reviewing and monitoring design development against CP's (Contractor Proposals)
• Construction work programme development and consequent monitoring
• Sequencing construction works to ensure handover dates are met
• Reviewing and signing off risk assessments & method statements
• Preparing short term planning programmes/look aheads
