Job summary

Falcon Green Personnel is seeking an experienced Façade Manager for a long-term freelance role on a major residential development in London. You will lead brickslip façade packages, coordinating with main contractor and specialist teams to deliver on programme.

Strong knowledge of external envelope systems and proven subcontractor management are essential, with a focus on quality and safety on site in a high-rise setting.

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Façade Manager to join a major residential development in Elephant & Castle on a long-term freelance basis.

The role will focus heavily on the management and delivery of brickslip façade systems, so proven experience with brickslip installation and external envelope packages is essential.

The Role

As Façade Manager, you will be responsible for managing the external façade package from installation through to completion, working closely with the main contractor, specialist subcontractors, design team and site management team.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the brickslip and wider façade packages on site.
• Coordinating specialist façade subcontractors and ensuring works remain on programme.
• Monitoring quality, workmanship and installation standards.
• Coordinating façade works with SFS, insulation, windows, balconies and other external packages.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical details.
• Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues.
• Managing inspections, snagging and quality assurance.
• Ensuring all façade works comply with design, specification and relevant regulations.
• Working closely with the Project Manager, Design Manager and wider site team.
• Maintaining strong health & safety standards across all façade activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Façade Manager / Façade Site Manager / External Manager.
• Brickslip experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of external envelope/façade systems.
• Previous experience working for a main contractor.
• Residential / high-rise experience highly desirable.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, quality and programme.
• Relevant CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.
