Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Facade Site Manager for a City Centre project in Scotland. The role leads façade packages across curtain walling, rainscreen and related systems, coordinating a wide range of subcontractors and labour.

You will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to high-quality standards while liaising with clients and design teams. Prior leadership experience and SMSTS are essential for this challenging, high-profile site.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS are mandatory for site access.
• Proven experience delivering façade packages: curtain walling, cladding, windows and doors.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with site teams.
• Ability to deliver projects safely, on time and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from installation through to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors and labour.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to high quality standards.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage site Health & Safety and ensure full compliance with procedures and legislation.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Review RAMS and coordinate material deliveries, storage and logistics.
• Liaise with client, main contractor, design teams and management.
• Monitor programme progress and report delays or issues.
• Manage snagging, defects and site handover, with accurate records.

We are recruiting on behalf of aleading Principal Facade Contractor, with work startingimminently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on a high-profile project involving a range of façade systems, working with one of the industry's most respected contractors.

Scope of Works

• Doors & Windows
• Curtain Walling
• Rainscreen Cladding
• GRC Panels

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all day-to-day site operations from installation through to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising site teams, subcontractors and labour.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Managing site Health & Safety and ensuring full compliance with company procedures and legislation.
• Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS.
• Coordinating material deliveries, storage and logistics.
• Liaising with the client, main contractor, design teams and internal management.
• Monitoring programme progress and reporting any delays or issues.
• Managing snagging, defects and ensuring successful project handover.
• Keeping accurate site records, diaries and progress reports.
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular updates.
• Ensuring all works comply with current building regulations, CWCT standards and project specifications.
• Driving productivity whilst maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
