Job summary

MyDek Ltd is seeking a Façade Technical Engineer to join our team in Stokenchurch. You will review drawings and specifications, work directly with architects and site teams, and deliver buildable, cost-conscious solutions across cladding and decking projects.

Qualifications

Experience in construction, façades, building envelope or similar technical projects.
Ability to read architectural/construction drawings with attention to detailing and buildability.
Ability to undertake structural and wind-load calculations for proposed systems.
CAD capabilities to produce clear project layouts and details.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications and project requirements with architects, façade consultants, designers and contractors.
Develop buildable, commercially competitive façade and decking solutions.
Identify value-engineering opportunities to reduce cost and complexity.
Conduct site visits and support installations with product demonstrations.
Prepare project-specific technical information for Building Safety Regulator and Building Control processes.
