Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is supporting an externals remediation project in Exeter. The Site Manager will coordinate sub-contractors, conduct safety inductions and oversee facade installation and cladding remediation on an external refurbishment programme.

The role requires proven remediation experience, SMSTS/CSCS credentials and a strong quality focus to deliver on time and within budget. Long-term, site-based contract from autumn season.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in remediation works, especially Curtain Walling and Fire barrier replacements.
• Experience as principal contractor with understanding of building control and warranty standards.
• Knowledge of site software packages (Multivista/Fieldview) and MS Project is advantageous.
• SMSTS, CSCS, First aid at work; scaffold awareness/PASMA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sub-contractors and site activities.
• Conduct health and safety inductions and checks; review RAMS and HS packs.
• Oversee facade installation and cladding remediation works.
• Maintain QA records, site logs and diaries; document works.
• Inspect alarms and temporary structures; manage site surveys and change inspections.
