Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for facade remediation projects in Leicester. The role is contract-based with a day rate of £400–£450, with potential to convert to permanent based on fit and performance.

The successful candidate will take full commercial responsibility for remediation schemes, manage trade packages, cost reporting and accounts from pre-construction to final account settlement, based from both office and site locations in Leicester.

Qualifications

• Main Contractor background with solid experience.
• Hands-on procurement, CVRs, variations and final accounts.
• Experience with facades, cladding, drylining or remediation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage full commercial packages: façade, cladding and remediation.
• Procure subcontracts, analyse tenders and negotiate terms.
• Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and cashflow forecasts.
• Manage interim valuations, payments, and payment notices.
• Administer variation accounts and assess scope changes.
• Agree final accounts with trade subcontractors and main contractor clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to mitigate commercial risk.
