Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of projects across its growing portfolio.

The role involves valuations, variations, cost control and final accounts within a specialist subcontracting context, with travel between Southam and West London and a hybrid working pattern. You will work under the Commercial Manager, handling monthly valuations, change control and subcontract administration, while ensuring commercial records are accurate and

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor within a specialist subcontractor.
• Experience with façades, cladding, curtain walling, glazing or building envelope is advantageous.
• Familiar with valuations, variations, cost management and final accounts.
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC subcontract environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly valuations and applications for payment.
• Assess, price and submit variations.
• Manage change control and retain commercial records.
• Prepare and manage subcontract orders.
• Assess subcontractor applications and final accounts.
• Produce cost reports, cash-flow forecasts and costs-to-complete.
• Monitor project margins and identify commercial risks.
• Remeasure works and identify changes in scope.
• Manage commercial correspondence and contractual notices.
• Support project final accounts.
