Facade Project Lead — Senior Site Manager

Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead facade installation and external refurbishment projects in Plymouth. You will be based on site, driving safety, programme delivery and budget adherence across a long-term contract.

Applicants must have a solid background in external works (EWI, glazing, cladding) within a principal contractor setting, plus SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work. PASMA is advantageous and familiarity with JCT contracts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven external works experience (EWI, glazing, cladding) and building remediation.
• Experience in a principal contractor environment.
• Solid knowledge of building control and warranty standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, liaise with consultants, supply chain and senior management.
• Carry out RAMS, safety inductions and site safety packs.
• Oversee inspections of alarms, temporary structures and other project elements under change.
• Maintain site logs, draw reviews, programme updates and coordinate variations.
• Manage logistics, staff and supply chain on site.
