Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Façade Manager for an 8-month assignment on a new healthcare project in West London. You will lead the façade package, coordinating with the Façade Lead to install unitised façades, curtain walling, glazing, cladding, and windows/doors on a ~£80m scheme.

You will manage teams, oversee safety, quality, and costs, and liaise with architects and subcontractors to drive design concepts and on-site progress.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams on facade packages.
• Strong knowledge of unitised façades, curtain walling, glazing, cladding, windows and doors.
• Proven ability to manage health and safety, quality and costs on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the façade package on-site with the Façade Lead.
• Oversee installation of unitised façades, curtain walling, glazing, cladding, windows and doors.
• Coordinate with architects, sub-contractors and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Ensure health & safety protocols are followed and risks are controlled.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and resolve issues promptly.

A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 8 month duration on a new build healthcare project based in West London. Pay ranges from £320-£350cis per day.

About the role of Façade Manager:

The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Façade Lead. You will need to oversee the installation of unitised façades, curtain walling, glazed façades, cladding, and window and door systems. The project is worth circa £80m.

Responsibilities:

• Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
• Strong background delivering projects involving:
• Unitised façade systems
• Curtain walling
• Glazed façades
• Cladding
• Windows and doors
• Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs
• Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects
• Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing
• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
• Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
• Manage risks, with any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.
