Job summary

Kenna Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Facade Manager for an East London residential development project. You will lead facade deliveries, coordinate cladding, curtain walling, brickwork and external envelope packages on site, and ensure programme, quality and budget alignment.

The role demands strong UK project experience with residential developers or main contractors, superb coordination with design teams and subcontractors, and a hands-on approach to manage complex facade packages

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facade Manager on UK construction projects.
• Previous experience working for a residential developer or main contractor is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of facade systems, including cladding, curtain walling, brickwork and external envelope packages.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations, fire safety compliance and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong subcontractor management, coordination and programme delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and deliver against tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all facade works on site, ensuring delivery in line with programme, quality and budget requirements.
• Coordinate facade subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors.
• Ensure all facade installations comply with UK building regulations, fire safety requirements, specifications and relevant standards.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and proactively address delays or potential issues.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
• Coordinate with site management, design teams, consultants and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions, resolving design and coordination issues as they arise.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed across facade operations.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and hands-on professional with proven UK experience working for either a residential developer or a main contractor.
