Job summary

CBRE UK is seeking a Facade Engineer to apply design principles to facade projects, preparing reports and specifications under senior guidance while taking ownership of assigned work.

You will conduct regular inspections, QA/QC, and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure timely delivery and compliant documentation, while pursuing professional development and MSc membership as part of career growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience and ability to contribute to surveys and QA processes.
• Knowledge of latest building construction techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform façade design related tasks with autonomy under guidance.
• Prepare reports and specifications for senior review.
• Carry out QA/QC of team reports and ensure procedures are followed for approval.
• Carry out regular inspections and condition surveys of facades and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Engage with clients, Built environment professionals and contractors to support project delivery.
• Maintain project administration, open new job numbers, and ensure proper document filing for auditing purposes.
