Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facade Engineer to apply façade design principles and manage QA/QC of project reports for property acquisitions, re-financing, and due diligence. The role involves autonomous ownership under senior guidance and effective client and professional interaction.

Key responsibilities include preparing specifications, supervising reports, and supporting the team with knowledge sharing while aligning with project timelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Improved knowledge of latest building construction techniques and materials.
• Pursues MSc in Facade Engineering and membership of the Society of Façade Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and specifications under guidance of senior team members.
• Perform QA/QC of reports to ensure procedures are followed for approval.
• Carry out regular inspections and condition surveys of facades and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Prepare fee proposals (subject to senior review) and ensure Director approves before issue.
• Follow internal project administration procedures (job numbers, conflict checks, project folders).
• Demonstrate awareness of RISE values and act as a role model.
• Manage time efficiently to protect delivery, updating the Team Leader on any issues.
