Job summary

Amida Group is seeking a senior Facade specialist to lead complex facade projects from enquiry through concept development to final implementation. You will apply cutting-edge materials and techniques to deliver safe, sustainable, aesthetic facades and oversee the progression from design to construction.

The role requires hands-on experience in influencing clients and contractors, writing specifications and reports, and leading projects with a focus on compliance with UK standards and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• MSc in Facade Engineering (Advantageous).
• UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacture processes and factory testing.
• Select facade materials.
• Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Project lead experience.
• Communicate façade designs with clients, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Specification writing.
• Report writing and professional presentation.
• Review of subcontractors' Technical Submittals.
• Taking designs from concept to construction.
